Racing Highlights | Everything about desert racing was
a highlight to me. From working my way up to the Expert
classification to becoming a Checker. One race that did stand
out however was the 1968 Barstow to Vegas. After a 192 miles of
                racing I finished 10th overall and 3rd 250 Expert. |

Raced | Started racing on a 500 BSA twin,
later switched to a 650 BSA. Triumphs ruled the desert then so I
switched to Triumph. In the late 60's the 2-stroke was coming on
strong so went to a Greeves, Husky and then Yamaha. |

still ride motorcycles? | Yes |

              | If yes,
                elaborate | I still love to ride,own a Honda
XR-600 Dualsport that I ride on a regular basis in the desert
and local mountains. Also own a Harley Softail Custom that we
have enjoyed for the past 10 years. |

              | Comments | I thank my dad for buying our first
bike, a 1960 Triumph Tiger Cub. I have never been without a bike
since, and the district 37 racing was the very best, and glad to
been a part of it. |
